Biography:

The foundiers of Second Story was Julie Beller and Brad Johnson. They began the studio in San Francisco California in 1994 then later moved it to Portland Oregon.

Julie Beller has a background in graphic design and a background buisness. Brad Johnson has a background fine arts but a had focus in painting. The team consists of 17 individuals with a background in buisness, art, language, science, history and technology. Second Story has won over 200 awards so far.

They have done sites for kodak, J. Paul Getty Museum, National Geographic, discovery channel and the Smithsonian. They mainly work with Dream Weaver, and Flash but also use Photoshop and Illustration to create their images. Most of their sites consist with rollovers, sounds, and video; as well as they do touch screens for museum.

Second Story is both a internet and interact studio to help museum inform their vistors in a new way. By interacting with objects and allowing them to go to places they normal would be unable to go. They work with both present and historical ideas.
